HYPERHIDROSIS- Excessive Sweating

[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”normal” position=”center” color=”#bfae87″ transparency=”1″ thickness=”1″ up=”5″ down=”5″][vc_column_text]Botulinum toxin type A (BOTOX) injections are appropriate for moderate to severe hyperhidrosis sufferers. Injection with botulinum toxin type A interrupts the signal from the nerve to the sweat gland to reduce the sweating in the area that is affected.

For treatment of the underarms, face and head, anaesthesia is often not required, but for treatment of the hands and feet, local anaesthesia is used to avoid injection discomfort.

The effect can take up to a week and can last longer than a year. Your sweating will return gradually, and your own comfort will dictate when you should repeat treatment.[/vc_column_text][vc_separator type=”small” position=”left” color=”#bfae87″ transparency=”1″ thickness=”2″ width=”30″ width_in_percentages=”yes” up=”5″ down=”5″][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][/vc_column][/vc_row]
